Hi there! I am Archita, a university student, aspiring journalist, and adventure seeker, and this is my website. Currently, situated in the hills of Lexington, Va, I am majoring in Economics with a minor in Journalism at Washington and Lee University.
I’m passionate about storytelling, especially when it comes to uncovering the real-world impact of policies and economic trends. My journalism experience has taken me from reporting on the farming crisis in Punjab, India, to anchoring live broadcasts for the Rockbridge Report.
I love digging into local and global issues and making them accessible—whether that means analyzing data, interviewing experts, or capturing the voices of people on the ground. My background in economics helps me break down the numbers behind the stories, and my experience in broadcast and audio production has taught me how to deliver them in engaging ways.
